Kevin D Judd, 133rd President
It is a great honor to serve as the 133rd President of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia. As the first bar association in the District of Columbia, we have a history of advancing the interests of the legal profession and of the community through advocacy and membership initiatives. I plan to contribute to the BADC legacy by: 1) enhancing the member value proposition; 2) building a financially stable organization; and 3) stressing the importance of an independent judiciary in the administration of justice. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Annual Judicial Reception and the Annual Black-Tie Gala will be combined and is planned for late winter or early spring of 2021. The Annual International Conference will be held in Panama City, Panama in May 2021. On behalf of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, I thank those who attended our virtual annual meeting on June 25, 2020, and I look forward to actively engaging you during this bar year. Stay safe and stay healthy! Kevin Judd, BADC President
